Daddy-o

Roo

explaining his artwork

he never ceases to amaze me.  note to self:  close the dryer door!

making faces at the kid in the mirror

Patience

I guess I took too long in the bathroom.  He kept knocking on the door and shoving stuff under it.  Then it got really quiet and all I could hear was heavy breathing.  This was what I found when I opened the door...
sound asleep :)

Wicked

Pictures from Sandee and Graham's trip to Denver last week
Watching Curious George

"Playing" with Warren.  Can you tell that Andrew HATES wearing pants?  He even dropped his drawers yesterday at church.

the play was wicked awesome!  as we were walking back up to my apartment I told sandee that we should reenact the play for graham and robert.  i told her that i would be glinda (the good witch) and she could be the wicked witch of the west.  hehehe.  payback for all those times she got the ken doll when we played barbies.

Easters

Some pics from Easter at Robert's mom and dad's

Dyeing Easter eggs (and hands)

"I said no pictures, dad."  He's got the stink eye figured out

I did a terrible job putting sunscreen on him so the next day at church he had a red sunburn around his eyes and in weird splotches on his forehead.

tormenting Beau

doing some practice swings for the pinata

eating the candy out of his eggs as fast as he could

Andrew had so much fun chasing around the dog, playing with cousins, eating tons of candy, and being outside all day

Rooney Gooney

I brought home one of my handouts for my sunbeam lesson on Sunday and Roo had a blast playing with it.

Andrew was being suspiciously quiet the other day.  He had squeezed his arm into the cupboard (one with a child safety lock) and pulled out some peanut butter cups.  In less than a minute he had unwrapped and eaten FIVE peanut butter cups!  I moved the bag up to the counter so he wouldn't get into them again and now he has been opening the dishwasher and standing on the door trying to reach them.  Persistent little fella.

Park

Playing at the elementary school near our house.

Improvising on the big kid swings

He sounds like the little pig on the geico commercials

Videos from Sam's Visit

Sam would build the cushions around Andrew then Andrew would break out of it (usually with an exploding noise).  He has still been sitting on the floor trying to pile up the cushions himself.

Trying to show off at the Olympic Training Center.  An old guy there asked me what sport he would be in the Olympics for.  I replied with, "mischief making."

More Sam

Here's a run down of what we did while Samba was here.

THURSDAY:  picked him up from the airport and then brought him to our house and made him watch college basketball.
FRIDAY:  Toured the Broncos stadium, went to the mall.  We tried to go play miniature golf that evening but Roo hadn't napped and kind of had a meltdown.  Sam and I finished playing while Robert sat out in the car with the screaming toddler.
SATURDAY:  Drove to the mountains to Morrison, CO.  There was a cool museums and a bunch of old buildings with stuff inside (I enjoyed, not sure if the boys did :), ate lunch, wandered around the town.  Then we took the scenic way home and stopped and "hiked."  Andrew won't ride in the pack anymore so we pretty much just wandered around at a toddlers pace and stopped at anything and everything that caught his attention.  Stopped at Sonic on the way home and Andrew drank all of my Grape Slushie.  Lame.  More college ball?
SUNDAY:  Church.  Lunch.  Played outside.  Played pool at the clubhouse.
MONDAY:  Zoo.  Nap.  Anything else that day?
TUESDAY:  Sam babysat while I went to my Dr appointment.  Still pregnant!  Got stuck in traffic for forever while trying to get downtown so we were only able to go to the museum (we wanted to tour the candy factory too but it took to long to get there).
WEDNESDAY:  Drove to Pueblo and met up with Sandee, Mollie, Avery, and Warren.  Had lunch at the park, the kids played until we were thoroughly roasted (80 degrees!), went to McDonald's for ice cream and the kids played, then Sam begged and begged to go shopping so we obliged and went to Ross and TJMaxx.  Robert was working in Colorado Springs so we stayed the night there with him.
THURSDAY:  Went to Garden of the Gods, watched a bunch of idiots get rescued, met up with Robert for lunch, went to the Olympic Training Center, Air Force Academy, then drove home.  Robert was a trooper again and watched Andrew while Sam and I went to Hunger Games.
FRIDAY:  I can't for the life of me remember what we did that day?  Re-cooperate?
SATURDAY:  Watched conference, went for a walk, more conference, then Robert and Sam went to the Priesthood session.
SUNDAY:  Begged Sam to stay but figured we'd be in big trouble with mom and dad so we gave in and took him to the airport.
