CHRISTMAS EVE

We went to a friend's house for dinner then came home and the boys opened presents from mom and dad

Alex got a quiet book that I made for him

and Andrew got cowboy boots and his hat that he earned for sleeping in his big boy bed.  He keeps running around the house telling me that he's a cowboy :)

CHRISTMAS MORNING

Santa came and brought the boys airplanes!  Andrew got Dusty Crophopper with a green propeller and Alex got a "little tiny Dusty cuz he's a little tiny guy" haha that's according to Andrew :)

After presents and breakfast we went to the movie theater and watched Frozen.  It was so good!  I thought for sure the theater would be empty but apparently going to the movies at 10 am on Christmas isn't a novel idea.  Who knew!  It's been a fun Christmas!  We are going to enjoy the sunshine and go for a walk around the pond and then to dinner at a friends house.

Well, I think this is the first Christmas when I have been able to go play at the park wearing only a jacket.  It was such a beautiful day today!

PwC Christmas Party

Robert's company Christmas party was Saturday, December 14, at the Bronco's (Sports Authority) Stadium.  It was nice to finally know some people there so it wasn't quite so intimidating.  We sat at the BYU table (mormons seem to be able to find eachother) so the company was good and the food was delicious!  We went on a tour of the stadium again this year and had a good time!

We watched our friends' baby Friday night, then they watched the boys Saturday night.  I think they got the short end of the stick :)  The boys were so fascinated by the tiny person wearing pink.

 FOURTH OF JULY

Our neighborhood had a bike parade on the fourth so we dressed up in red, white and blue and gave Andrew a flag.  We got to follow a firetruck and a big group of people in a parade around the neighborhood. 

Andrew loved it!

I kept asking him if he was tired or wanted to be carried, but he did the whole big lap

It ended at the pool and the shaved ice truck was there

Later that day we rode our bikes to a park to watch a laser light show (since there was a fire ban)

JILL AND ANDREW'S BIRTHDAY

We came back from our weekend in the Valley in time to go to church in our ward.  Sunday was mine and Andrew's birthday!

We had already celebrated with cake and icecream in the valley so we didn't do much that day except walk to the park and roast to death!

On Monday we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and I had some awesomely delicious prime rib

Alex was not a fan.  

It was family night at the restaurant so the boys got balloon animals and ice cream sundaes.  That night was also the super moon.  so cool!
