I turned on my laptop this morning and the home screen was
back to what it looked like when we bought it.
I FREAKED out. Two years worth of
pictures and scrapbook pages were on the computer that I hadn't yet backed up
onto the external hard drive. I was
about to burst into tears when Robert suggested that I just restart it and see
what happens. I shut it down and turned
it back on and THANK HEAVENS it was back to normal. Man that would have stunk to lose
everything!!!! So I decided that today I
need to 1) buy a new external hard drive to back up this computer and 2) update
the blog so that the pictures are saved in another place. Here are some pictures from the last THREE
months (we moved exactly three months ago today). Time has been flying by!

We went to Denver the end of March for Robert's last day of work. He had an exit interview, turned in his laptop, and went to lunch with his old team. We drove up Sunday after church and Andrew was beyond excited when we pulled up to the hotel.
And they bounced around for a good hour while Robert worked on moving everything off his work computer onto the external hard drive and sucking every last benefit out of PwC he could (ordered Microsoft office for cheap).
The boys were out of control by this point so we went for a walk and terrorized the other hotel guests.
Pumping iron must have done the trick because they finally chilled out. That or turning on cartoons. What I wouldn't give to have that much energy!
Breakfast the next morning. I think it was by this point that we swore we were never taking them to another hotel again! Crazy kids!

We went to the Zoo with some friends from our last ward. Andrew LOVES giraffes and wanted to stay there the whole day. I need to take him to the zoo in Colorado Springs so he can FEED the giraffes!

Trip to Denver mid March for a dentist appt for Robert and errands for the shop. He chipped a molar right before we moved and needed to come back to get the permanent crown put on. We are so glad it happened while we still had awesome dental insurance!!!
Must. Touch. All. The. Things.
We used the last of Robert's Marriott reward points and stayed at (one of) the nicest Marriotts in Denver. Why not! The hotel staff thought the boys were the cutest and treated us to a free breakfast at their fancy hotel. The $40 breakfast buffet was pretty good!
Robert still had his "Elite" status (that's a real thing) so we had access with our special key to the Concierge Lounge. They had appetizers, hors d'oeuvres (is that spelled right, Sandee?), desserts, and the best hot chocolate machine ever with lots of flavored syrups to add to it. It was marriot reward points well spent!
Robert's parents came up the next day to go with Robert to meet with the attorney for the sale of the shop. The boys and I went to the Dinosaur Museum.
And then dinner at Cafe Rio after. The next day we went to a tent sale at a bike shop in Denver and bought some pretty sweet mountain bikes.
We came home Saturday afternoon. The Sanford boys bball team was playing their state championship game that evening in Pueblo. We wanted to stop and watch but we had to speak in church on Sunday and we knew we wouldn't get home until well after midnight so we watched it from home. Plus Alex is a beast and wouldn't have sat and watched the game plus he would have screamed the WHOLE way home that late at night. We watched it online instead. The next day when we gave our talks about half the congregation was gone because they had either gotten home super late or stayed the night in Pueblo. It was such a good close game and Sanford won!
